BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND BAKES

Happy Monday everyone!

I was so excited for this weekend baking! Baking Czech sweets and pastries just reminds me of home and it is always nice to bake that kind of stuff that is close to your heart. Although, Sourdough breads and RAW slices had its spot in my weekend baking schedule too!

This below is a Czech Marble bundt cake with walnuts and raisins. When this one gets to be cut, there is always coffee or tea included. And you usually invite some friends over to enjoy this cake. Or you eat it all by yourself. Up to you!

European sweet pastries Kolache with poppy seeds and almond flakes, walnut mixture, cream cheese Quark filling with raisins. Crumble on top and sprinkled with icing sugar. YUM!

And Medovnik cake!! This special layered honey walnut cake connected with caramelized condensed milk and butter icing and covered with cake and walnut crumbs.. There is just something about this cake. When a spoon digs into the layers slowly from top to bottom.. Some prefer straight from fridge, some at room temperature and some a bit warmed up in microwave. Best eaten with cup of tea or coffee!

Oatmeal cookies with raisins

And bread rolls ROHLIKY - with jam, peanut butter, butter and sea salt, Vegemite, Nutella, ham and cheese or a hot soup. Whatever you have rohliky with, it will be delicious!
