BUSY WEEKEND @ BAKING FACTORY

Happy Monday all lovely people!

I was truly blessed to get many orders and spent all Saturday baking. It took literally all day to get everything baked as having only one oven makes it a bit more difficult.

I baked over 50 pieces of these beautiful KOLACHE. It is a European sweet pastry with different kinds of filling. Walnuts, cream cheese with raisins, poppy seeds with almonds and powidl jam. It was like being at my grandma's as she used to bake them every weekend. And they were always gone in minutes. So were these.

Another sweet treat - BLUEBERRY CAKE WITH CRUMBLE. It made a great afternoon tea, that's for sure!

And of course, what weekend would it be without baking a loaf of SOURDOUGH! This beauty was a Sourdough bread with caraway seeds.

And BREAD ROLLS 'rohliky'. Like when we used to go to the shop in the Czech Republic to get them nicely fresh baked.
