CHRISTMAS COOKIE DECORATING CLASS
Happy rainy Tuesday everyone!
A lot of things have been happening at Baking Factory the last few weeks. It has been extremely busy since I left my job, busy baking, organizing Christmas cookies, decorating, baking, scheduling, rolling dough out, baking, colouring, cutting, and did I mention baking already? Yes, that b.u.s.y., but there has not been a day when I would wake up and was not excited about what I was going to do. Linzer cookies, Gingerbread cookies, vanilla crescents, crinkle cookies, bee nests, rum balls, coconut balls, a lot of sweet loaves of bread 'Vanocka', Sourdough bread, bread rolls, marzipan balls, healthy chocolate-coconut macaroons, cinnamon rolls and everything again and again. I have loved every single minute.
On Sunday 20 December I organized a Gingerbread cookie decoration class. Czech and Slovak people do this at home at Christmas with their families and so I had a few Czech and Slovak people come to our home. We had coffee, desserts, listened to Czech Christmas carols, decorated cookies and had a chat. And they did a great job decorating.
Thank you for coming and hope to see you again next year!
