VANOCKA

First 'Vanocka' of this Christmas just came out of the oven and my heart melted. So many wonderful memories from my home country.

We make these with dried fruit, chocolate or walnuts or everything together inside and with flaked almonds on top. This buttery sweet bread is very popular at Christmas in the Czech Republic and has its place on table in every home.

More of these were baked on Friday and it was one big marathon!!!
