GIANT CINNAMON ROLL CAKE BAKED

We had a big competition on last week to win a Giant Cinnamon Roll cake. It ended on Sunday 06 Nov, and its winner Benoite Boucoiran was picked out of a hat. She chose this Thursday morning for the cake to be baked.

Let me tell you, this was one of my crazy baking ideas. I used up three batches of cinnamon rolls dough, lots of cinnamon, sugar and butter. And the word 'Giant' was so right for this cake, with its 23cm round shape and many kilos in weight, it nearly didn't fit in a cake box!
