BACK IN SYDNEY, WEEKEND FULL OF BAKING!
Happy Monday all lovely people!
I had a nice three weeks break in Europe and now we are back in cold but still beautiful Sydney. I may say that too often, but people who can do what they love doing, are truly blessed. I work full time during the week, but when I come home and bake or bake on the weekends, it makes me really happy. Maybe one day there will be 'Baking Factory' shop or cafe and you will be able to come in, have a cooffee and a muffin. How lovely does it sound?
It was Louis's 3rd birthday party last week and it was my pleasure to bake a Pirate themed birthday cake and cupcakes for him. The cake was a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. Also the adults enjoyeyd sesame and salt Pretzels, this time shaped as rolls to be easily served with Salmon and dips.

On top of that I had so many amazingly smelling sourdough bread and bread rolls. One loaf was for a person who celebrated his birthday on the weekend, so I made his sourdough bread a little bit more special!I also got an order on a special Czech bread called 'veka' which we use as slices and topped with ham, cheese or dips. And for my beloved husband, I baked some bread rolls with vegemite - he looooved them!
And doughnuts! Strawberry jam and chocolate sugared doughnuts - I am sure it was nice to stay at a cosy home and have them with a cup of coffee!
